we’re delighted to welcome you on sunday 28th march to the opening of iteration 11 of the mothermother project
eleanor cooper (invited by yukari kaihori) and kiriana o’connell (invited in by stella brennan) have installed a spectacular show.
eleanor’s work refers to the ecological mutualisms between tree wētā, tramedes fungus, pūriri moth and chinese tree privets, around Tāmaki Makaurau. kiriana’s works emerge directly from the earth, from papatūānuku, and are in constant conversation with the artist’s sense of belonging and narrative.
